The British Fashion Council has announced the designers and artists pairing up for its Britain Creates: Fashion & Art Collusion project, part of the London 2012 Festival.

The duos, including Giles Deacon and Jeremy Deller, Mary Katrantzou and Mark Titchner, and Matthew Williamson and Mat Collishaw, will work together to create a one-off piece of art, unveiled at a fundraising event on June 27 (see Diary) and showcased at the V&A July 6-29. This will be followed by an installation in Selfridges' Wonder Windows programme during July and August.
